Ulrike Acker

Before dedicating herself to the label „bombdesign“ Ulrike Acker worked as an interior architect an architectural office in Bern, Switzerland.  She studied Interior Architecture at the University of Art and Design, Burg Giebichenstein, Halle/Saale and graduated in 2002. During her studies she already focussed on furniture design and spent 2 terms in the furniture design department of College of Art, Edinburgh. She completed her studies with a Master of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, USA , graduating 2005. These two important years in the United States were made possible through a Fulbright Scholarship. Since 2005 Ulrike Acker lives and works in Berlin and is recognized as part of the young Berlin design scene.

Malte Nisch
Dipl. Des. industrial design

... founded and developed the label bombdesign further. Malte Nisch studied Industrial Design at University of Art and Design, Burg Giebichenstein, Halle/Saale, graduated in 2001 and got work experience at HLB in Chicago. Since 2002 he lives and works in Berlin with a focus on print design, web design and CI development.
Malte has developed and formed the visual Identity of bombdesign. From 2D graphics to 3D presentations he develops the brand on a high quality level that stays true to the idea and quality of bombdesign products.
